Well, just add this month as another month of changes! I got a job as a preschool teacher at Alexandria's school, and started 3 weeks ago. The first week and a half were utter hell. Both Alli and I were bawling; her because of being at home with Mommy for 2 months and new teachers and friends, me because of being at home with my daughter for so long, and wishing it was a perfect world where I could be a stay at home mom.
By the end of the second week, we both had adjusted to things. I actually love the change of scenery in this new job. Very different from sitting in front of a computer all day long!!! I love being with the children, and I enjoy having Alexandria close to me. She visits me during the day, and her class even came in to sing "happy birthday" to me last week...complete with pictures they drew for me. It's a thrill for her to call me "mommy" instead of Ms. Chandra like the other kids.
