Christa's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

March 17, 2003

Noah has been doing really well sleeping in his bunk bed. Though last night he did go to bed with us, only because he acted to wired to fall asleep anytime soon on his own. I was not ready to stay up till 1 am waiting for the rubbing of the eyes and such. But he has 3 nights of sleeping in his own bed. Only to wake up around 7 am with the words "mama!" coming out of his little mouth. It is a precious sound first thing in the morning. Noah did shock me yesterday when we went upstairs. I sat him down pointed to the binky and told him to go get it and then come to mama. Well he proceeded to get it then start to play so I went to the next room to put clothes away. A few minutes later it got REAL quiet! I looked in and he had crawled up on his bed and went to sleep! I was shocked!!!

DRIVIN' WITH MAMA
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I get so frustrated with some of these drivers around here! They wait till the last minute to get in the turn lane, the lane I am getting in, and cuts me off! And what do I usually say? "DUDE LEARN TO DRIVE!" Then next thing ya know, Noah learns a new word. This happened a few weeks ago, but a friend, Heather, told me "you should post that in his diary it is so cute! So here I am. Recently when you hear me say DUDE! Noah walks around saying,"duuuDE!" And thinks he is ALL that and a bag of chips. Haa! It is the cutest thing. He still points his finger at ya and jabbers something to ya.
WHAT MUST HE THINK OF THEM?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have a couple friends that come over now and then. Noah is used to them. But I wonder what he must think of "us girls" when we start acting silly. Now he will play right along with Heather. He will put his arm on her and sling his hand back and forth, as to be slapping at the wind. She in turn does it back. Oh he thinks this is fun! They will get going in the playing and he loves it. They had me laughing this weekend, he really likes Heather. Then there is my friend A. I think Noah thinks she is just plain crazy! Haa! I don't remember what we were doing but she starts acting all goofy, and Noah gives her a look as to say, "girl what are you doing?!" She laughes and says "noah ya think I am a crazy one?" Haa! He just laughs and runs off or tucks behind me. What a silly boy!

Trying to be the big boss
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lately we have noticed that when Austin gets into trouble and we are correcting him, telling him he should not do such and such thing, Noah sticks his finger out at him and says, "Baaaa!" Is that supposed to mean bad? But he will do it to anyone that is getting "talked to" about something they did wrong. Even if my sister is telling her daughter to not run through the house. There will go Noah's finger, "BAAAA!"
WEATHER
~~~~~~~~~
It is starting to get really nice out, so we have been getting outside and enjoying the nice weather. Noah loves going to the park to play. And on the days that I HAVE to do homework, we have a patio with a wooden fence around it. So we sit outside, he plays while I get my reading done. We both enjoy it and when he wants to go in, the door is right there. Just perfect!
