March 3, 2003
Did you see the date? 3-3-03. Haha! Well I thought I would update this diary.
Noah is doing really well, since the surgery. He is a complete new little boy. He brought us joy before, but that last week before the tubes went in was a living nightmare. He was so miserable that it made the whole household miserable. But now he is in a good mood all the time. Well except for the normal times, hungry, thirsty, tired. But for the most part he is laughing, playing, and making us all laugh. It does remind me of how Austin was at this age. I do have to say I am blessed with 2 great boys!
We had some old friends come visit us Sunday. They have 2 little girls. So cute too! I had to laugh at the mom though, she remarked on how I "needed" to have a little girl. Humm, too late. Had that fixed almost a year ago. Yes I would love to have a girl running around here but 2 kids is all I can deal with. Some women can handle 3 and 4 but I know my limits. And 2 is it! I would never trade Austin and Noah in for the world, but 2 is enough. They bring me lots of joy. Like right now Noah is turning in circles and laughing at himself. Ahh, the joys of toddlerhood! Though since the tubes have been in he has humm...developed some new things. Shaking one hand at you as in to say, "hey you listen up!" or something like that. Then there is the finger waving. As in hush, i am doing this my way. Oh he is good at shaking the finger! *rolling of the eyes* Now to figure out what he is trying to say. He is just jabbering up a storm. Some time soon it will develop into real words. But for now he knows what he is saying, though the rest of us don't. Mama is REAL clear though!
MY LITTLE HELPER
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think I have my little built in helper. Noah has been helping mommy pack and unpack things. He is so good at it too. He will watch me to see what I am putting in a box and then he proceeds to find some of the same stuff and put it in the box too. And he loves to help clean the toy room. Today he even picked up all his legos and put them in the container. What a big boy!
