It's snowing!! Alexandria and I woke up to a good three inches covering our yard and it was still coming down pretty hard. When we were slip-slidin' our way to the car, Alex threw back her head and laughed as the snowflakes hit her face. I put her down and let her explore. She ended up getting completely soaked, but she was so happy. I was already late for work, so we just had a little fun. It is those "little" things that are more important than the "big" things. My daughter reminds me of that every day.Classes started last week, so I'm back to wishing there were more hours in the day. I love going to school. I appreciate it so much more the second time around. To tell you the truth, I love being able to leave the stressful atmosphere of the office and escaping to my classes. Instead of turning into mush, my brain starts kicking into gear as soon as I leave the office. That sounds so awful, but I'm on Auto-Pilot as soon I get into my office in the morning.
Alexandria was a WWF wrestler last night in bed. I was punched, hit, kicked, body-slammed all night long. She had a rough night ... again. She kept waking up, crying, "Mama, up!" -- meaning "Hold me." I was tired this morning and hit the snooze button too many times. (Coffee is a good thing!)
Hope everyone is having a great week!
