Chandra's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

December 6, 2000

This week, I slapped down my last final of my collegiate career and did a little happy dance out the door. I was/am one happy woman! What am I going to do at night now? I've spent the last 15 months either doing homework or at least procrastinating over homework as soon as Alli was in bed. Ah, the freedom is almost too much!!! :-) I have all sorts of little projects I want to do around the house like organize all my paper clutter, paint Alli's bed, refinish a vanity that I started over a year ago, and I'd also like to take Alli up to the snow during the winter. She's never seen the snow!

Alli's Christmas picture. When I went to daycare to pick up Alli, I was greeted with a somewhat muddled "Happy graduation, Mommy!" Obviously, her teachers had been training her during the day but it meant the world to me to hear that from her. I swooped down and gathered her in my arms, kissing her face while she laughed and laughed. That is the best way to end a long day......picking up my little girl at school.

Like most days, I ask the teacher if Alli had any accidents (panty/potty-wise). The teacher smiled and said,"Not how you think."

"What happened?"

"Why don't we ask Alli." So I turned to Alli and asked her what she did today.

Alli smiled up at me and replied," I pee in the potty!"

"You did! Good girl! What else did you do?"

" I flush the toilet!" The teacher interrupted at this point and asked Alli where her panties went. "I flush them in the toilet!"

"You flushed your panties down the toilet!!! Why did you do that, Alli?"

"Because I want to!!!!"

I guess that's all the reasoning she needs to flush her underwear down the toilet. They didn't clog it though! I hope this is only a one time thing. I can't imagine trying to explain to my landlord why I need a plumber.

Here is Alli's Christmas picture. Enjoy and have a great day!
