Will the Potty Fairy puh-leeze visit our house again???!! I know that Alli is fully aware of how to use the potty and when to use the potty. Up until a couple of weeks ago, she was potty-trained while at daycare and more or less at home in the evenings/weekends. Now, we're back at stage one. Can someone please tell me why? She tells me she has to go, but refuses to sit on the toilet and runs for a clean diaper and wipes as soon as she's done going in her pants. I've tried bribery but she thinks she can have her bribe just by taking off her pants and going on my floor. I don't think so! I would love any advice or responses to this in my "talk to me" section.....I'm at my wit's end!

Besides all the changes within my immediate family, there will be some changes for Alexandria and me in the near future! I've made a decision to leave this job, this town and everything else in December. This is something I've been going back and forth on for months now and feel so much better having a plan. I need to whip my resume into shape by October (that's when I'll begin my "serious" job search) and then hopefully, start looking for places to live and *gulp* a new daycare for Alexandria. I'm not at all worried about finding a job or a place to live. The hard part will be finding a great , yet affordable daycare (would that be an oxymoron?!). Alli's current daycare is both and I'm so grateful for the wonderful things they have done for my daughter.

One early birthday present has been a hit with Alli. She got a Little Tykes wagon complete with 2 cupholders and a little storage/cooler...one cool ride! We've been taking it down to the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings and she proudly sits in her "Waggie". People always make comments to her about how neat her wagon is and she waves to all the dogs and other children as I'm pulling her along. Her big thrill is having a her juice cup in one holder and a handful of blueberries in the other. We also been going for walks around our hilly neighborhood every evening after dinner. Good exercise for momma!

Since I'm playing the piano for church this weekend in CA, I've been spending more time than usual playing at home. Alli loves it. When she sees me sit down at the piano, she runs to her room to get this frilly, feathery purple tutu skirt-like thing. After she squirms into it, she twirls around and dances while I play the piano. It's a feeling of deja vu when she does that....I remember doing the same thing with my sister when my mom played the piano.

Hope everyone is happy and healthy!
