Ahhhh...let the chaos begin. Wait! It never stopped! Am I the only one that feels like they can never catch their breath from the day-to-day activities, and the weekends filled with places to go, things to do? I'm not doing anything unusual! I work (nothing new there), I have a family (who doesn't), and I'm planning a wedding (wait, isn't that backwards?!.....) *sigh* I used to go to the gym on a regular basis, but that fell to the wayside when I went back to work. Where do I fit that in during my week? Perhaps I'll be enlightened soon, the wedding is in less than four months!
I just realized that spring is here, and that means that summer is not too far away, meaning, Alli's birthday is coming! My baby is going to be three! What happened to this amount of time that she's been a part of my life? It's has flown by so quickly! Since I'm working with young children now, I spend my day with children that seem so tiny and young in comparison to my daughter. But in my own eyes, Alexandria is such a mix of a real CHILD, she's not a toddler anymore, much less a baby. :-( This is a bittersweet time for me. Just this morning in the car, after we went through the espresso drive-thru for my morning addiction, she made this comment that summed it all up.
Alli: When I get older, Mommy, I can drink coffee.
Me: Yes, when you get much older, Alli...
Alli: But I not get older too fast, Mommy.
Me: You said it, Alli.
*******
Hope everyone is happy and Healthy,
Chandra
