follow the adventures of this single mom of one!
November 30, 1999
I never married my daughter's father and just ended the relationship this
fall. He's a good dad to Alexandria and that's the most important thing.
Currently, we are learning how to co-parent. He is going to be moving
almost two hours away and we both want to be with our daughter all the
time. Unfortunately, we can't have what we both want. So, I'm learning the
art of compromise and adjusting to the fact that Alexandria won't be with
me 100 percent of the time. I have a wonderfully supportive family, but
they are in California.
Alexandria is a funny and very independent little girl. She is in a
fantastic daycare on campus and is jokingly called the "Queen of the Roost"
because she is the BIGGEST and one of the oldest. She moves into the
Toddler room sometime after the beginning of the New Year. I look forward
to sharing the humor and adventure in raising my daughter with everyone!
Hello! I'm Chandra from Corvallis, Oregon. I'm a 23-year-old single mom to
a beautiful little girl, Alexandria. She was born August 15, 1998. I am
working 3/4 time at a university while taking classes full-time at the same
place. I only have one year left until I get my degree and am counting the
days!
