Hola chicas!!!!! Yes, I know you think I dropped off the face of the earth, but I'm alive! Everything's been great! lol I figured I owe everyone an entry before I get kicked off this site for no action! =)
Makayla is doing great! We're getting closer and closer each day! We're actually potty training right now... For just starting hard core training a month ago, she's doing fabulous. Here's the kicker though... she'll be at our house, and be wearing the cloth training pants, and not have an accident for about 2 days, go to her daddy's house for 2 1/2 days and come home in diapers. This is a weekly thing. I start from scratch every Saturday. To say the LEAST it's VERY AGGRAVATING!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if any of you single mom's have been thru this or have any advice, I would love some. I'm about to go out of my mind!!! =(
Guess what?! I turned 21 on Thursday! YES, I am legal. lol I haven't really done much, but I'm technically legal now. It's all downhill from here! ;) I'm just kidding!!!
I've been working at the hair salon for about a month now and I love it. It's SO me and I'm happy!!! I'm so eager to learn, I don't know if I can stand this 18 month apprenticeship! Well, actually 17 months now. ;) Wish me luck!!!!
A little update on my personal life - I met a guy! Well, actually, I met him about a year and a 1/2 ago, but we never really dated. We've kept in touch over that time and about 1 1/2 weeks ago we started dating. He's been the PERFECT gentleman, my parents love him, my friends love him, and I'm sitting in awe - trying to find something wrong w/ him!!! lol I'm like "this is too good to be true!!!" I'll def. keep you guys updated as to what happens with that!
Makayla sings songs alllll the time! She is the next American Idol, I swear. =) She also loves gymnastics - and I'd love to enroll her, but the thing is, that they have to be potty trained first, and her father is NOT HELPING ME AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( ADVICE PLEASE?!?!?1
I know this is short, but atleast it's an update! Everyone post as to what is going on!! I miss you guys and I promise to keep in touch better! Have an awesome week!!!
