Yes, I am FULLY aware that I am a "TT-slacker!" LOL It's been a whole month since I've posted. Not TOO much has changed... let me see....
Russell and I are still going towards the divorce. No second (or should I say third or fourth) thoughts about this. We've contacted our lawyers and we should be divorced before the summer is over.
Makayla has been at Russell's since THURSDAY! It is now SUNDAY! She just came home tonight. My dad even mentioned that I wasn't worth a flip while she was gone. I was so depressed and all I wanted to do was sleep. I was off of work (which I'll explain later) so I was just pitiful. I didn't have my joy and life with me!!!!!! =( Anyways, she came back tonight and I have been a totally different person! I'm SO thankful to have my babygirl back!! =) =) =) She kept saying "Happy Father's Day" to me. LOL It was funny - I was like, I'm your MOMMY, honey! lol
Well, like I said earlier, I need to explain why I was out of work. Well, since my last post, I put in my two weeks notice, left the jail, and I am starting Tuesday at a new job. I went from law enforcement for the past 2+ years to, get this - an APPRENTICESHIP AT A HAIR SALON. I'm totally excited though, b/c that's more "me" and my personality anyways! It takes 18 months, and two semesters of school, and I'll have my license. If anyone is living in VA in 18 months - send me an email and we'll make an appointment!!! =) I've also signed back up to sell Mary Kay. I first signed up when I was 18 but, I think I was just too immature to do it fully. I re-signed up under my mom (she was originally my recruit) and I'm loving it! I'm taking it more serious now and I know I'll prosper from it. It's such an awesome company that is built on putting God first, family second, and career third. How awesome is that?! OK, I'm done babbling now! heehee SO I've gone from dispatching to police officers and then working in a jail, to HAIR AND COSMETICS! Yeah, definate career change! Wish me luck girls!
Makayla burnt her finger tonight. =( It was SO sad. She has a little blister on her index finger. I cried as much as she did! I had a tart-burner (LOVE those things... or atleast I USED to.) burning in the den and she thought the flower was "pretty" and touched it! AWWWWWWW! I about flipped when I saw the blister, and then she flipped too b/c you know how they wait for OUR reactions! (I can't help it though! I see a blister forming and am immediately thinking "THIRD DEGREE BURN - CALL 911!) No, I'm not overprotective! (Just normal, I think!) lol Well girls, it's late and I have to get up early with my baby! I'm off every monday with my new job and every OTHER tuesday and saturday, so it'll give me much more time with her during the week. Praise God!!!!!
You girls have a GREAT week and drop me a line - I'd love to hear from you! Hopefully it won't be such a long time until my next entry! I'll try hard - I promise!!! =)
Love you guys!
God Bless!
