Well, Halloween was a blast. By the third house he was carrying his own candy basket and saying "trit-treat." If Dh or I offered to help him carry his basket he'd jerk it back and say "I do, I do." We only went to 12 houses but he was dragging his basket. It seems that there weren't as many trick or treaters so each house gave him handfuls of candy. A couple times he dropped his candy basket and tried to take their caldron of candy, figuring he'd trade for a better deal. I don't know why they think some small child can or should eat so much candy. I definitely brushed his teeth for 3 days after that night and we've hidden the candy. He had a great time and so did we.

AF - well, I am at the end of my two week wait. Friday will be 28 days. But, last month I was at 31 days, so I'm assuming if Friday show's a -, then Monday will tell. I think I'll test on Friday, I don't know yet what I'll do.

Stressful goings-on - well, I'm upset about my job. I've been here 4 1/2 years and it's getting old. It's not the job actually, because I like what I do, it's the company and the way they do things. The job I mentioned that I applied for with the govt -well, I heard the guy who quit decided not to quit so there is no available job now. So, I did apply for another one yesterday, less pay than the other but still more than what I make. I'm not counting on it though. Right now, I'm kind of depressed about all this stuff. Dh has been working for 14 hours a day half here and half for this other potential job. He is working with a couple other people working on the proposal to the govt. He gives that on Thursday. Apparently, there are 3 other potential bidders and I'm not feeling as positive about them winning the bid anymore. If this doesn't pan out, then we are going to start looking elsewhere around the country maybe even in Europe for jobs. I am tired of being here at our present employers and so is he. I am so discouraged.
Then to top things off, my sister M has separated from her husband of 20 years. Apparently, he has driven them into debt without her knowledge. They both have financial responsibilities because they both work. He hasn't paid the house mortgage in 4 months and didn't pay state taxes for 3 years. How she didn't know, we are clueless about. Then we find out that the business he has he hasn't paid state or federal taxes for over $30,000. The cars and house have liens on them and they've already filed bankruptcy 7 years ago. My BIL has been very deceptive all these years and no one knows where the money is. My brother invested in his business and now has to take out the 30k loan to pay off the govt because he is liable as well and he doesn't deserve to be dragged into this. We are all seeing a whole new person in our BIL and no one understands how he could've done this to them. The story goes much deeper but in a nutshell it's really upsetting our entire family.

So, that's what has been going on. It's been a busy week or two for us all. I know God has a plan for us and it's hard to wait it out.
