Amanda's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
October 12, 2000
I guess it has been a while since I last wrote. Many things have been going on and Sydney is growing every day. She seems to have frequent ear infections. I am kind of worried that it might interfere with her hearing or speech. Right now she is still talking in her own kind of language but says some things and understands most of what I say to her.
My DH and I went on a vacation a couple of weeks ago and my mom stayed with the kids. When we were about half way to our destination my mom calls me on my cell phone and tells me that Sydney has a fever of 103. My mom is not from the same town that we live in so she had to find the doctor's office with a toddler with a fever and a 5 year old. But it all worked out in the end but what a way to start a vacation that I haven't had since Sydney's brother was her age.
All is wonderful now. It's starting to get cooler outside and it won't be long before we can't go out. Syd will not like that at all. She loves it outside. She has now found out how to climb up the sliding board and slide down. How lovely.
Until next time, God bless!
