With All My Love
Runner-up in the "Dear Baby" Essay Contest
By Jennifer Phillips
Dear Baby,
Being a parent is not at all what I thought it would be like. Being your mom is the most important thing I have ever taken on; it is also one of the few things I fail at and exceed at each and every day. You are now 2 and the last two years have flown by. I waited until I was 30 to start trying to have a baby. Once I was finally your mommy, everything changed and nothing was what I expected.
You make me laugh and cry almost every day. I now cannot imagine life without you. I am totally in love with being your mommy. I am very proud to be your mommy and I can't wait to watch you grow into a young lady and I also cry at the thought of you growing into a young lady and leaving our little nest. I never thought my heart could be so full. You have completed everything about me and your daddy. You have made us a family.
With all my love,
Mommy

I couldn't have expressed better the way I feel about my baby than how it is expressed in this article. My son is 2 y/o and he is my life... Jeanel Lillium Femme USA
