Celebrating Christmas Around the World

Santa is called Jultomten in Sweden, according to Anders Carlsson, who has lived in Sweden for the better part of his 30 some years. He sports the beard, as he does in the United States, but his timing is slightly off.
"He arrives a little earlier to us," says Carlsson. "He arrives on Christmas Eve and delivers the Christmas gifts himself to all the children. I think that's because we live closer to Santa's home or something..."
The celebration of Christmas can be incredibly unique, and simultaneously, comfortingly similar. Where ever you are and whatever you call the man in red, one thing remains the same the holiday season is a time of friends, family, food and fun and don't forget the presents
