While we may want to push our child to start learning, this age is for fun! Green says to avoid adult-agenda activities such as letters and numbers. Another thing to avoid is letting your child "push buttons" as a substitute for "real" activities. Watching a computer screen or TV shouldn't be used in place of physically engaging activity and actual playthings.
