Lion Costume
Tail:
The last step is to create and attach the tail. Fold the rectangular piece of fabric in half lengthwise. Using thread, sew a seam, leaving only one of the ends open. Be sure to make the seam at least 1 inch into the fabric so that it doesn't come apart. Then, turn the fabric inside out. Consider stuffing the tail before proceeding with attachment.
Close the open end of the tail by folding it over, then attach it by stitching it onto the rear of the sweat suit. Be sure your stitch is strong (consider reinforcing it) so the tail doesn't come off. After the tail is attached, cut about 20 pieces of yarn (about 2 inches long) and then tie another piece of yarn around the bunch to keep them together. Tie this tassel to the end of the tail.
