Toddler-friendly Crafts

Using the sponges or stamps, allow your toddler to personalize the bag. Let him get creative! After he's done, allow it to dry completely. After it has dried, you can sew on other embellishments, if you'd like. Some ideas are fringe around the bottom or shiny beads or rickrack.
You'll need:
Old CDs
Puffy paint and paint pens
Yarn or string
Here's what you do:
Cover your table with newspapers to protect it, then lay the CD flat. Let your toddler paint the CD with the paint pens and puffy paint. Allow the CD to dry completely, and then let your toddler do the other side.
When both sides are dry, tie a piece of string or yarn through the middle to make a hanger. Let your toddler decide where to hang it, or help him wrap it as a gift for the teacher!
You'll need:
Foam paint brushes
Tissue paper
Old shoe box with lid
White glue
Old bowl
Here's what you do:
Let your toddler tear the tissue paper into small, random-sized pieces and shapes. When he's done, pour some of the glue into an old bowl, adding a few tablespoons of water to it to thin ita bit.
Show your toddler how to paint the glue onto the shoebox. Do a small space at a time, andthen let him cover it with the pieces of tissue paper. Continue, overlapping the pieces until the whole box is covered (don't forget the lid!). Allow to dry.
